		<description><![CDATA[<p><b>The EBA in partnership with Spurgeons College are holding:</b></p> <p><b> </b><b>“Core Leaders Training”</b></p> <p><b> </b><b>This is for deacons, elders, church leaders, for those considering a nomination, or those with years of experience.  Come as a group or as an individual.  </b></p> <p><b>The course covers the spiritual life of the Core team; Trusteeship &#38; responsibilities in an EBA church; working together; decision making; conflict; mission and pastoral care.  There will be some speaking from the front, some activities and some peer learning, listening to people just like you serving God in the local church.</b></p> <p><b>The course consists of two Saturdays.  It counts toward the Spurgeons on-line learning course for those who’d like to do more studying.</b></p> <p><b> </b><b>When and where:  </b></p> <p><b> </b><b>South Woodham Evangelical Church.  85 Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. 		<description><![CDATA[<p>Today&#8230;not tomorrow is an inter-generational ministry that aims to disciple children and young people in a way which is integrated into the context of the wider church and through the ‘Today &#8230; not Tomorrow’ tour, churches have the opportunity to hear from resource author Ed Jones (Arise Ministries) about how to use the new resources to encourage discipleship for all ages. Ed will work through the various elements of the Today &#8230; not tomorrow resource during the evening. He also works part time as a trainer, and has recently set up his own independent company, delivering a number of training courses approved by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.</p> <p>Recently he has been involved with the setting up of our Church’s Health &#38; Safety policies, during which we highlighted serious training needs which needed to be addressed for us to comply with the current Health and Safety laws. Do you have any Health and Safety training needs within your own Church setting? I can currently deliver training in first aid and fire safety. <p>Michael Freed is  a member of Hadleigh Baptist Church, Hadleigh, Essex, He has spent over 25 years in the construction industry and the past 7 years working as an operational fire-fighter where he has been involved in delivering trauma training. He also works part time as a trainer, and has recently set up his own independent company, delivering a number of training courses approved by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.</p>
<p>Recently he has been involved with the setting up of our Church’s Health &amp; Safety policies, during which we highlighted serious training needs which needed to be addressed for us to comply with the current Health and Safety laws. Do you have any Health and Safety training needs within your own Church setting? I can currently deliver training in first aid and fire safety.
